Your Photos and Workspaces - How to get the right first time.

More from George Atkins about Workspaces as a follow up to his talk in June
So now there are two pages explaining.
The first and original one is found HERE
The new one is HERE

In addition there is a check list in PDF on our site that is well worth looking at before the season begins. This should help you get your PDI's into the correct condition before you email them.  It will stop Jill, Mark or Martin from going crazy.  See this HERE

All of these can be found on the Digital Help section under Sundries.

A couple of photo opportunities: Portsmouth International Kite Festival, Southsea Common, August 28 - 30 - should be a colourful opportunity, can you make a 'simplicity' opportunity??

Mottisfont Exhibitions

One of the photographers exhibiting at the Winchester Discovery Centre is local wildlife and landscape photographer, Paul Sansome. He gained a "Highly Commended" for his "Terns in a Queue". I mention this because Paul has a one man exhibition starting at Mottisfont Abbey, tomorrow - Saturday 31 July. The exhibition runs until Thursday 12th August. Note that Mottisfont is not open on Fridays.

I have just come from assisting with the set up, and it's a stunning exhibition.

If you are a National Trust member then entry is free - otherwise normal Mottisfont NT admission charges apply to gain access to the gardens, river walks, house and exhibitions. There is even a new ice cream parlour!

Mottisfont is actually a good day out for all the family. They also have a very interesting Beatrix Potter exhibition at the moment of some of the original watercolours she painted to illustrate her books. Evidently these paintings are only exhibited every ten years or so!

Another one for the diary - Andover Split Image Photographic Society will be exhibiting at Mottisfont later this year - Saturday 28th August to Thursday 2nd September.

Regards,
Roy Brophy
