Chairmans Newsletter No.42

Our split club evening was well supported in both camps, with 18 at Marwell Zoo and 23 at the club.

Marwell Zoo on a very warm bright summer evening was a pleasure to be at.  The animals were mainly, like the rest of us, hot and to bothered to move around, however, there was plenty of photos being taken and those that I managed to speak with were enjoying the visit.  The two young ladies who were our escorts answered questions and pointed out various interesting facts as we went around.

I am told that Georges talk and demonstrations were well received and some useful info passed around.
There is a new page on the web site  about this HERE

So our thanks to Mark, Jillian and to George for their contributions and organisation.

Next week is the Mix and Match club evening, attached is an explanation for those of you who are unsure what this means.  Jack Whitemore is to be the judge and Liz will be the scorer, what we do need if anyone has one is a timer.  So all we need is for you to turn up with a selection of prints, its not necessary for them to be mounted and for you to join in the fun!

my regards and keep snapping!

Terry
